Rachel Schaefer
Rachel A. Schaefer is the Director of Research in the Minneapolis office of Bentz Whaley Flessner. She supports client engagements through analysis of philanthropic and economic trends, peer comparisons and benchmarking, survey development and administration, and prospect research.
Rachel's background includes 10 years of progressive experience in prospect research, management and tracking, both in higher education and in healthcare. Prior to joining the firm, Rachel supported the research needs of the University of Minnesota's $1.65B capital campaign, and designed and implemented a prospect research and management system for the HealthEast Foundation during St. Joseph's Hospital's $10M capital campaign.
Rachel obtained her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University. She is active with the NU Club of the Twin Cities, and has served as president for the last six years. Rachel is also a member of APRA and sits on the programming committee for the Minnesota chapter.
